Pinterest Challenge Saturday!

Hi! I'm back again with another Pinterest challenge! I found so many cute things and of course I have pinned them all! So, this is when I will share with you what I have created. I have been working on tons of things for my classroom and still, none are completed. I keep jumping from one project to another! LOL! I finally decided on a Beach/Ocean theme for my classroom this year, so I want to share my Birthday Beach board that I made to display my kiddos birthdays. Did I mention I have 22 First graders?! Yep, that's right! 22!! Boy, they sure keep you on your toes =) I still want to make a sign that says "Birthday Beach" and I also plan on

making shells to write their names and birthdays on to place on the sandcastle for their birthday month. I used the Life's a Beach Cricut cartridge to cut out the sandcastle...oh wait, maybe it was Create a Critter?! I can't remember and I'm honestly too darn tired right now to get up and look. Sorry! LOL! Here is where I got the idea for this board. TONS of classroom ideas! Love this site, if you're a teacher, you really need to check it out.

I have a second project that was pretty easy to do. I saw this post on a blog about making your own cell phone case covers with scrapbook paper. I thought to myself, why didn't I think of that?! I have a clear cover for my Android and have been wanting a cute cover, but can't bring myself to pay $30 for one, I'd rather spend it on something else! So, needless to say I was excited to try this out. It was pretty easy to do, but would have been easier with an Exacto knife, I know I have one, but couldn't find it. I might have to make a few adjustments, but you get the idea =) I made one for everyday, Halloween and Winter! I have soooo much scrapbook paper, I can easily change these out for different seasons, holidays or when I just want a change! I plan on making a template when I find my exacto knife!
