What a great way to celebrate the 4th of July
weekend than joining in on a Virtual
Cardmaking party with Operation Write Home!
I have a box that I really need to ship, but I keep saying, one more card and I'll mail it!
Well, after this weekend, I'm going to the post office and I'll just have to start my next box.
So, every 2 hours, a new challenge is posted and I'm just finishing with the first one.
Challenge #1
It was to use camo in a creative way...hope
fully this is creative enough! LOL! I love the way it turned out. Had to throw some good ol' red, white and blue in there =)
Another part of this challenge was to make a to send to OWH for a solider to send home to a loved one. I made this "fishing you a happy birthday" card that will be included with my box. I really should be cleaning house and doing laundry, but I'm off to work on the next challenge!
Challenge #2
The second challenge was to make a card with a fishbowl. I didn't even realize I had one on my Animal Kingdom cartridge! That just proves how much I use that one huh?! LOL! I made one with the fishbowl and another one that I thought was cute and went with the theme.

Challenge #3
The third challenge is called tie a yellow ribbon. The challenge called for colors that looked to like yellow, white, orange and brown, although the ones listed had much fancier names! LOL!
Here's my take on it and I added a tiny yellow ribbon to it as well.

Shana, I love your camo card. Thanks sooo much for playing along. I a.so love the moose fishing!
