OPERATION WRITE HOME MEMORIAL DAY HOP!!!



Hi there! Thanks for stopping by for the Operation Write Home Memorial Day Blog hop! I'm so honored to be a part of this hop! If you have never heard of Operation Write Home, please stop by their blog and check out all the details, it's such a wonderful way to support our troops. Many people say they want to help, but don't know how, well, if you love to make cards this is such an easy way to contribute.
This is my version of an "I miss you" card. I like the simplicity of it and thought it would be nice for a male or female solider to send home to their loved one. The sentiment is from the Stampin' Up set, Service and Sacrifice. Love this set, perfect for making cards for OWH or any military family member/friend!

While celebrating Memorial Day this weekend, please take a moment to reflect what the holiday is all about...remembering those reflect on the sacrifices and services of the American soldiers and veterans and the U.S. military men and women.

    Really nice card. Especially I like the red brads and the patterned paper mat for the sentiment - sets it off beautifully.

    Hi! Love love your card! It's so bright and cheerful, a nice contrast to the missing you theme. I like cards that show off beautiful DP, and like everybody I think your sentiment is perfect. The strip of tiny pure white ribbon is beautiful. Great job!
