Moving onto Phase 2!! Woohooo!!!

I applied for the DT call for Queen Kat Designs and to my surprise I was jumping up and down when I saw my name on the list for those moving on to Phase 2!!! Soooo, our challenge for Phase 2 was to make a card an altered project. I thought for a few days about exactly what to make and even started something else...I didn't like the way it was turning out, so I scrapped it and started something new. This is what I came up with...you know those cute little paint cans you can get at Home Depot? Well, I had two of them in my scrap room and with Valentine's Day coming, I thought, hey, those would make cute tins for the kids teachers! I ordered a cute teacher themed stamp set from Clear & Simple stamps that I hadn't used and I thought it would be perfect. The stamp says, "Something sweet for a teacher who's neat". So I made this cute little paint can with matching card that will be filled with goodies for one of the teachers. I hope they like it! And I'm keeping my fingers and toes crossed that I make it pass Phase 2! Wish me luck! Hey...I think there's a challenge this week for a pink and brown card isn't there? hee hee..Yep, I think I'll post this for the Allsorts Challenge and Raise the Bar's Debut Challenge too =)
