Day 2 365
Today was my first official day back since going on Maternity Leave...not only was it hard to get up so early, but it was hard to leave Liam all day. I missed him so much and thought about him all day. It has just been me and him hanging out at home, but now he was hanging out at home without me! Luckily, my hubby had today off and stayed home with the baby so I was texting and calling asking about what he was doing often during the day. I expected to come home and see that he was crying because he missed his mommy,not that I want him to miss me and be miserable, but you know what I mean! Instead he was busy playing in his little gym having a stare down session with that red bird he loves so much. Then I realized that he didn't miss me at all...but I guess that's a good thing =)
He is sooo content watching that bird. That's too funny. Poor mama, I would be calling every chance I got too!! But being with daddy is great too, I bet they had a blast.
